the Brand

Living in the Karoo, my skin craves deep nourishment. I found the solution to my skincare needs in Tallow, and subsequently developed this range to help your skin get what it needs, naturally = because there’s nothing that satisfies skin as well as Tallow does.

The slowmade collection is a skincare brand committed to creating products with ingredients your skin recognizes, and you can understand. Having personally experienced the difference tallow has made to my skin, our products are a testament to the belief that the ingredients that have stood the test of time are best for skin health.

So - what’s special about the slowmade collection’s skin food?

Our range of products contain grass-fed Tallow, which is naturally rich in Vitamins A, D, E & K and Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA). It’s bio-identical to our skin’s own sebum and blends in to skin beautifully, helping to form a protective barrier, and offering all the natural nourishment that our skin needs to be its best. Absorbs easily, nourishes deeply.

We’ve also chosen to incorporate unrefined beeswax into our products, which is a natural emollient and humectant, drawing moisture to the skin and locking it in.

Kalahari Melon Seed Oil is one of Africa’s best kept skincare secrets. Rich in Omega 3 & 6, it stimulates skin cell growth, helping to regenerate and restructure the skin. It’s non-clogging and helps keep skin supple & firm.

An everyday essential. With honey, a natural humectant, helping to retain moisturize, keeping lips hydrated and nourished.

Magnesium may assist with muscle discomfort, in the regulation of stress hormones & neurotransmitters, in promoting more restful sleep.
